The9 Victorious In Plug-In Lawsuit
The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) announced on Thursday that it has won a lawsuit with a gamer, surnamed Wang, found to be using a plug-in for its licensed MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW) in the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court, reports Sohu. The9 permanently blocked Wang's game account on September 10, 2007 after it discovered him using a plug-in for the game on September 9, 2007.
The9 announced on March 3, 2007, that WoW game accounts found to be using plug-ins would be permanently closed.
