Giant Licenses 3D Korean MMO

Giant Interactive (NYSE:GA) announced July 23 that it has obtained exclusive operation rights in mainland China of ELSWORD, a 3D Q-style MMORPG by Korean game developer KOG, 17173.com reported July 23. Giant Interactive expects to start technical testing of the game in the third quarter of this year, according to the report. The game has started operation in regions including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, said the report.
