Sina Microblog Launches Open Platform
Sina's (Nasdaq:SINA) microblogging service has officially launched its open platform, cooperating with third-party websites as well as desktop and mobile application developers, Chinaz.com reported July 28. The platform's partnering sites and applications are allowing users to log in and share information, including pictures and videos, using their Sina microblogging accounts, according to the report. The platform currently has more than 100 applications, the report said.
