Beijing Media Forms LED Ad JV
Beijing Media Group (1000.HK) announced that it has agreed with Trans-media to set up a joint venture to operate LED display advertisements at the third terminal of the Beijing Capital International Airport, Yicai.com reported July 29. The two parties will invest a total of RMB 157 million in the joint venture, in which Beijing Media Group will have a 51% stake, the report said. Beijing Media Group has extended its advertising contract with the terminal to the end of 2012 and has entered into a strategic framework agreement with the terminal's owner Capital Airports Holdings for LED advertisements in more of its airports, the report said citing a company announcement.
