China Develops Server OS; Lenovo On Board

China's Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) announced on Monday that China has completed development of a server operating system called "Yin He Qi Lin", reports Chinanews.com.cn. The project is part of China's 863 Plan and led by the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT). The system is based on the FreeBSD system. NUDT has signed cooperation agreements with companies including Lenovo for the OS.
