Shanghai Alliance Investment plans to sell its 50 percent stake in MSN China company Shanghai MSN Network Communications Technology, a joint venture between Microsoft and Shanghai Alliance Investment, according to a rumor reported by 21st Century Business Herald. Shanghai Alliance Investment is now in talks with overseas investors for the sell-off, said the report quoting an insider. Shanghai MSN Network Communications Technology Company may face operation license problems if Shanghai Alliance Investment sells its stake, said the report quoting Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) president and former Microsoft China president Tang Jun.
