Gome Joins Forces With Microsoft To Fight Bootlegs

Chinese home electronics retailer Gome (493.HK) signed an agreement with Microsoft China to only sell and pre-install legal copies of Microsoft software and products on September 26, reports Sina. Over 760 Chinese Gome stores (including Gome and Yongle household appliance and electronics stores) have promised to reduce Microsoft bootlegs by selling official products, according to the report.
