Sina Finance News Chief Resigns

The head of Sina's (Nasdaq:SINA) finance news team, Nie Daoxian, has resigned, Chinanews.com.cn reported July 3. He joined Sina as a finance editor in 2004 and became of head the finance news team in 2005, the report said.

Sina has been rumored to have plans to spin off its finance business and get it listed independently, according to the report.
