Linktone CTO Resigns
Changes continue at Chinese wireless value added services provider Linktone (Nasdaq: LTON) as CTO Ye Xin and human resources vice-president Zheng Shubin resigned on March 1, reports Beijing Star Daily. Ye joined Linktone as CTO in December 2003; he previously worked as Sohu's CTO. Former Linktone CEO Raymond Yang resigned on February 24; Linktone CFO Colin Sung is serving as acting CEO until a permanent replacement is found. Linktone reported on February 27 that its fourth quarter net income fell 63 percent quarter on quarter due to failed marketing campaigns and rising costs.
